Reeds, Pines, Wind, a Lake and a Path
The path around Daecheongho Lake is called Obaekri-gil.
There are 21 sections in total, between 10km to 13km each. The most popular section is Section 4: the Hoban Nangman Gil (Romantic Lake Path), which is 11.5km and requires approximately 5 hours to finish. There are no harsh slopes, making it easier for beginners to approach. Many people select this course, because there are towns to eat and drink along the way, as well as the Waterside Park. In the spring, cherry blossoms decorate the path, while in fall, the foliage does. It is also attractive in the winter, with waterfowls flying over the lake amongst the vast reed fields and pine forest.

Everyone embarks on their own journey. No matter what others say, we must continue on our own paths. Once in a while, we can look around at who we are traveling with. Give them a pat in the back, because soon, our paths will diverge from theirs. Bless their paths and ours!
